Principle of operation

The cooling medium for the R717 evaporative condenser for food refrigeration is water and air, which exchange with the high temperature gaseous coolant in the coil to convert the high temperature gaseous coolant into a liquid state.

The water coolant is carried to the upper portion of the coil by the water pump and sprayed through the nozzle to the surface of the coil so that the water coolant falls into the thin water film.

At the same time, the internal condenser is under negative pressure when the fan is working. It accelerates the evaporation of moisture from the surface of the coil and absorbs a large amount of heat, causing the high temperature and high pressure coolant to form a liquid from the air.

The fan discharges hot and humid fumes into the atmosphere.

The dripping water in the hot and humid flue gas will be discharged into the collection tank through the high efficiency water absorber.

The unvaporized high temperature coolant exchanges heat into the packing layer and the air therein, and is converted into a low temperature coolant, which is returned to the spray system for circulation.

The recirculation of the coolant allows automatic control of the collection tank.
