Advantages and space requirements of air cooled evaporative condenser

The air cooled evaporative condenser has a low operating cost and its condensing temperature is very practical and economical within 8.3 °C of the wet bulb design temperature. The main result is that the compressor power is at least 10% less than other cooling tower systems. Power consumption, and 30% less power consumption than air-cooled condenser systems, the power of the fan is equivalent to the power consumed by the fan of the cooling tower / condenser system, and is about 1 of the same size of air-cooled condenser fan power /3. Due to the lower head of the pump and the reduced water flow, the pump power is approximately 25% of the pump power required in a typical cooling tower/condenser system.

The air cooled evaporative condenser saves initial investment when operating. Its evaporative condenser integrates the cooling tower, condenser, circulating pool, circulating water pump and water pipe, thus reducing cooling towers, circulating water pumps and water pipes. The equipment also reduces the cost of handling and installing individual components in the cooling tower/condenser system. Since the evaporative condenser utilizes the evaporative cooling heat exchange method efficiently, the heat exchange area, the number of fans, and the power consumption of the fan motor can be effectively reduced.

The air cooled evaporative condenser saves space and saves valuable space by combining the condenser coil and the cooling tower, and there is no need to require larger pumps and piping to the cooling tower/condenser system. Evaporative condensers require only about 50% of the windward area of an air-cooled condenser of the same specification.
